KT GROUP Mobi+ (pronounced “Mobitas”) is the pavilion of the KT Group, which started in 1939 as Kanagawa Toyota Hanbai, in the Urban GX Village at GREEN×EXPO 2027. Its theme is “cars + resource circulation”: using the carrying power of cars to build a society in which resources go around. The Expo Association’s introduction describes “cars” carrying “energy” wherever and whenever it is needed.

Highlights and exhibits

According to the official site launched on September 17, 2026, the starting point is household vegetable and fruit scraps — stems and peels that usually end up in the trash. A diagram on the site shows one loop: scraps from the dinner table are collected and crushed, fermented, the gas is stored and used to generate and store electricity, and the liquid fertilizer and CO₂ from fermentation help grow vegetables and fruit that return to the table.

Large recycling power plants already turn food waste from shops and factories into electricity. Mobi+ adds the “moving” power of cars to that loop, so resources can circulate close to where people live without a big facility — “from large infrastructure to small infrastructure that moves and connects.” Cars with resource-circulation functions would come to your town or to someone far away, in daily life and in emergencies.

  • The experience takes about 60 minutes, and children can enjoy it too.
  • The tagline asks, “What will you add to the car of the future?”
  • Four sketch perspectives of the pavilion are on the official site; full details are “coming soon” (as of October 2026).

About the exhibitor

The KT Group has supported local life by carrying people and goods by car; its group companies include Kanagawa Toyota Jidosha and Toyota Rent a Lease Kanagawa. Its “mobility life design” concept — services that let people, goods, and information move as needed — shapes the exhibit. On November 21, 2025, the Association changed the exhibitor name from “KT Group Co., Ltd.” to “KT Group.”

The group, together with Tsumamasa Co., Ltd., will also supply exhibits to the City of Yokohama’s “Tsunagu Yokohama-kan” (the city’s building-based exhibit in the Urban GX Village), showing a locally completed resource cycle using the mobility of cars and the future of urban farming (City of Yokohama, September 24, 2026).
