NTT East is exhibiting the NTT EAST Pavilion in the Urban GX Village at GREEN×EXPO 2027. Its concept is “well,” and the Expo Association lists it as NTT EAST館「well」. The concept, a new exterior image, and the building outline were announced at the ground-breaking ceremony on April 8, 2026.
Highlights and exhibits
NTT East says it will use technology to express, in a hands-on way, a “well-being society” where industry, nature, and culture are in harmony and happiness goes around. The pavilion covers two topics — a well-being society, and initiatives that support the future of local communities — and plans “moving experiences you enjoy with all five senses” using IOWN and other cutting-edge NTT Group technologies.
The concept “well” combines three meanings: Well-being, Welcome, and “ueru” (to plant), as in planting seeds for the future. The official site describes the pavilion as a place to dive into a regional circular society and experience the world from a new perspective. The exhibit layout and visit duration have not been announced as of October 2026.

The tentative exterior image released in October 2025 depicts a society where people and nature coexist; a new exterior image was released in April 2026.
About the exhibitor
The NTT East Group’s purpose is “co-creating a regional circular society.” It decided to exhibit because that purpose matches the Expo’s aims, and sees the pavilion as a chance for many people to experience regional circular models built on advanced technology. It also announced a dedicated Horticultural Expo promotion office from April 1, 2025. At the time of selection in March 2025, the company’s name was Nippon Telegraph and Telephone East Corporation.
