The Yamazaki “A Bright Table for Tomorrow” Pavilion (Yamazaki “Ashita no Akarui Shokutaku” Kan) is the outlet Yamazaki Baking Group will run in the Farm & Food Village at GREEN×EXPO 2027. It is one of the Expo Association’s four themed commercial outlets. It digs into Japan’s bread culture, which blossomed within a rice-eating culture, together with the company’s efforts toward “a bright table for tomorrow.” A Daily Yamazaki convenience store will open next door.

Highlights and exhibits

According to the special site launched on September 7, 2026, the pavilion will share its story through projection mapping and immersive theater footage. Visitors are greeted by images projected onto louvers designed to evoke growth toward the sun, and by a “Wheat Path” (komugi no komichi) that grows throughout the Expo. Outside there will be planting that changes with the flower calendar, a deck for gathering and an area for free play.

A job posting for pavilion attendants (staffing company Sapient, posted July 23, 2026) lists guiding visitors on tours of the pavilion and outdoor reception and guidance among the duties. Show times, capacity and visit length had not been announced as of October 2026.

Daily Yamazaki next door

The special site says the Daily Yamazaki store beside the pavilion will sell familiar breads such as anpan, melon pan and curry bread, along with freshly made rice balls, bento boxes and GREEN×EXPO 2027 limited items. The Expo Association’s list of provisionally selected commercial outlets (June 22, 2026) also names Yamazaki Baking as a convenience store operator in the Farm & Food Village. The limited items and prices had not been announced as of October 2026.

About the exhibitor
